On behalf of RPI Athletics, our students, and the entire RPI community, THANK YOU for the extraordinary support of our 24 for 1824 Giving Day!
Our first fall giving day in support of athletics and our teams, as well as the Rensselaer Annual Fund, was a smashing success, with record-breaking results. We are truly grateful to all those who participated in 24 for 1824.
Donations from this 24-hour special giving day support Let’s Go Red! and the RPI Annual Fund – both critical to our ongoing efforts in contributing to the success of current and future generations of students on and off the field.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Lyn and Marty Schmidt ’81 for sponsoring the Presidential Annual Fund Challenge, Bob Cummings ’69, Marge and George Derrick ’67, and Karen and Lee McElroy for their support of the Let’s Go Red! Team Challenge and our women’s teams in honor of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, as well as Xavier Majic ’94 and Edith Nutescu P’25 for their men’s and women’s hockey matches.
As a result of their donor challenges, we were able to reach our event’s overall goal of 500 donations in less than 12 hours!
Finally, congratulations to the winning teams in the Cherry, White, and Black brackets, as well as the winners of the Athletics Donor Challenge, Student Donor Challenge, and Pets for Puckman Challenge! Winners of the gift card and ticket drawings will be notified by email.
We deeply appreciate everyone’s support, enthusiasm, and commitment to the RPI community. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you next year for 2Rπ Day.
Remember, the RPI Spirit Shop closes at midnight, November 3. For every purchase you make, $5 will directly support RPI students through the Annual Fund. Grab your spirit gear and join us at an upcoming game to cheer on dear old RPI!
