The Rπ Challenge is a new twist on Rπ Giving Day, with the overall goal of encouraging engagement and participation from RAA chapters across the globe.
Beginning on Rπ Day through March 27, RAA chapter members are encouraged to go online and make a gift of any amount to key funds where support is needed, including the Annual Fund, Student Relief Funds, Research Fund, or other options. And, there will be some friendly competition – the chapters with the highest level of participation will win bragging rights and some great prizes.
Please join us in supporting current students – and the next generation of Rensselaer alumni/ae – while connecting with your local RAA chapter online!
Alumni Participation: Show Your Rensselaer Pride
The philanthropic support of our alumni and alumnae is an important indicator of your belief in the educational mission of Rensselaer. Alumni/ae participation is one of the factors that organizations such as U.S. News & World Report consider in determining a university’s ranking and the quality of a school. Prospective students and their parents view donor participation as a measure of alumni satisfaction with their education. By giving back, you are demonstrating pride in your alma mater, and inspiring others to contribute to the success of each student.
Support Our Students
An annual gift is one of the most important contributions you can make to our students. Your gift of any amount will help, and can be designated toward the area of your choice, including the following:
- Annual Fund: Student Scholarship/Area of Greatest Need
- Let’s Go Red! Athletics Fund
- weR Gold
- Research Fund
- Undergraduate and Graduate Student Relief Fund
- RAA Scholarship
Your help is needed — now more than ever — as we continue to prepare our students to join the global network of successful alumni and alumnae after completing their education – particularly challenging during these unprecedented times.
